  1. sensei Manish kumar i have trained in the martial arts for 10 years and the last 7 years in masubayashi ryu. i am currently a 4th dan. what a pleasure to see someone who truly understands the karate and thier purpose as how it relates to our training. the teaching and understanding of bunkai is essential to make any martial artists realize thier full pontential. without bunkai kata means nothing...you are a credit to the art sensei. 6. Brendan Nolan is without doubt one of the nicest most genuine people you could hope to meet.
not just through his excellent work as a karate instructor, but as a person.
over the last two years and more, he has shown himself to be a caring and somewhat humble person, his handling of my four children is second to none, this proven by their working their way up to their brown ands white belts.
in more difficult times, for myself, he has always found a way of training my children, his patience and endurance are never ending, for this i thank him dearly.
all four of my kids, (Nico, Devon, Jacci and Molly) were being picked on and bullied at school, this is what made us find our connection with the academy, within no time at all my children have gained in strength, fitness and most importantly, i believe, CONFIDENCE.

If you are considering getting your child into a self defence class, look no further!
Brendan Nolan of the Lincoln Karate Academy------WE SALUTE YOU.
